Parker, 1940's Duofold Fountain Pen, Blue/Black Stripe w/Goldfill Trim - VP4346

Parker 1945 Duofold Fountain Pen   Vacumatic filler; excellent color in both cap and barrel with no fading or discoloration; very crisp imprint; some very small scratches due to age and use, otherwise no chips, nicks or cracks in barrel or cap; 5 identifies 1945 as year of manufacture; no brassing of trim or clip; original cap and barrel jewels intact; 14 karat Parker V FINE nib; smooth writer; measure 5-3/8" capped, and 6-3/8" open with posted cap; RESTORED AND WORKING.

Sometimes called Duovacs by pen collectors, these pens were introduced in about 1950 to replace the classic Parker Duofold button filling pens.  Production of these more moderately priced fountain pens ran from 1950 to 1948.
